My Kundalini Awakening Journey: From Numbness to Radiance

There was a time when I felt numb. Disconnected from my body. Lost in the noise of the world and the expectations I thought I had to live up to. I was doing what I thought was right, but something inside of me kept whispering: There’s more. This isn’t who you truly are.
That whisper eventually became a roar.
My Kundalini awakening didn’t happen overnight. It began as a soft unraveling — a deep calling back home to myself. And like all true journeys, it didn’t start with light. It started with discomfort. With emotional chaos. With tears I couldn’t explain. With a deep ache in my body and soul that told me something was trying to be born through me.

The Breakdown That Led to My Breakthrough
I reached a point where my body started reacting to everything — foods, environments, even emotions. I experienced intense fatigue, anxiety, a hyperactive nervous system, and mysterious symptoms doctors couldn’t fully explain. I felt trapped in a body that wasn't working the way it used to. But I now see that my body was never broken — it was awakening.
The energy I had suppressed for years — the rage, grief, fear, and unexpressed truth — was rising to the surface to be felt, acknowledged, and finally released.
Kundalini — the dormant life force energy at the base of the spine — began to stir.
Remembering Who I Am
Through breathwork, intuitive movement, sound healing, meditation, and lots of stillness, I began to feel this sacred energy rise. It wasn't always gentle. Sometimes it felt like electricity surging through my body. Other times it brought waves of grief or old memories I thought I had forgotten.
But beneath it all was love. A deep remembrance that I am more than my pain. More than my limitations. More than who I was taught to be.
Kundalini energy is not something to chase or force — it’s a sacred unfolding. It’s your soul asking you to drop the masks and come back to your natural essence. For me, that meant embracing my feminine energy, softening, slowing down, and finally listening to my body’s wisdom.
Healing Through the Body
My physical symptoms became sacred messengers. They guided me toward nervous system regulation, deep nourishment, and living in alignment with my truth.
I began prioritizing rest. Saying no to anything that didn’t feel authentic. I reconnected with nature, started dancing again, and stopped abandoning myself for approval.
I learned that healing doesn’t come from fixing yourself — it comes from loving yourself back to wholeness.
What Kundalini Taught Me
My sensitivity is my superpower
Suppressed emotions live in the body and must be moved, not ignored
The feminine path is not about doing more — it’s about being more present
There is no higher self to become — only the truest self to remember
We are all channels of divine energy when we dare to open and surrender
A New Way of Living
Today, I’m still on this path. There’s no final destination. But I now live in deeper alignment with my soul. I trust the signs. I trust my body. I trust the quiet whispers of intuition.
My Kundalini journey reawakened the woman I always was — wild, wise, soft, radiant, and free.
